The main objective of the Centre is to provide support to the small scale glass industries through long-term programming and creation of supportive facilities within the Centre, capable of addressing the following priority areas:

1. Creation of New Job Opportunities and Improvement of Skills and Working Conditions for workers/artisans engaged in small scale glass industries.

2. Efficient Utilization of National Energy and Mineral Resources

3. Development and adoption of New Technologies and Products

4. Protection of Environment
